The beauty of French cinematography in 1970s and 1980s, and the use of fashion to tell stunning stories was the starting point for Nadya Dzyak this Fall-Winter season. Designer reached back into the past, drawing inspiration from such noted actress as Mireille Darc.
She was Parisian fashion icon and ‘le grand amour’ of Alain Delon. This glamorous star played a modern, liberated woman, and found international fame in ‘The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe’ by Yves Robert. However, under the external playful beauty there was a deep and subtle inner world of Mireille. In addition, when creating the collection, Nadya Dzyak was inspired by the French interiors of the early eighties. Both the beautiful dresses from the new collection, and simple and at the same time luxurious eclectic rooms had been created according to all the canons of French effortless chic.
Colors: chocolate, vintage gold, natural umber, carmine red, ocher, sapphire. The designer has developed unique floral and geometric patterns, which are transferred to various textures, such as silk, jacquard and organza. Traditionally, NADYA DZYAK collection has a lot of handwork, pleated patterns, geometric cutouts, asymmetrical silhouettes, combinations of different textures and proportions. Silhouette: waisted. Lengths: below the knee. Key items: signature transparent weightless dresses and blouses, done with by means of unique technique of manually pleated patterns layers. The NADYA DZYAK brand continues to cooperate with the best European textile factories, using in its collection unique jacquards, organza and silk, and for the first time this season the designer uses velvet and organza with sequins and embroidery elements.
