10th Anniversary

10 Years
LE MILE MAGAZINE

LE MILE is more than a magazine.
It’s a family home, an art house, and a community center;
It’s a style guide, a storybook, and a collector’s item;
It’s a unit of measurement, a milestone, and an odyssey.

LE MILE is a cutting-edge publication celebrating emerging and established creatives in fashion, arts, culture, and entertainment. Readers enjoy an immersive experience as they flip through a unique collection of insightful stories and contemporary aesthetics brimming with bold and colorful content from around the globe. Each issue has a new theme to capture this independent spirit so that every interview, art review, fashion editorial, and photo documentary jumps off the page.

Based in Weimar and conceived in New York, Alban E. Smajli was inspired to create something that didn’t conform to industry standards. He called it LE MILE, after the byname of his younger sister, and its mission would parallel her coming of age journey. The magazine debuted on January 9th, 2012 – Mile’s 17th birthday.

Within three years of its launch, the once digital quarterly publication became a biannual release available exclusively in limited edition print, now globally distributed on five continents. Over its ten years, LE MILE has gained a reputation for being one of a kind, and a rarity like that will always be in high demand.

LE MILE is more than a magazine.
It’s a dream;
It’s a good friend;
It’s a creative outlet;
It’s a labor of love;
– And it means everything.

The 32nd Issue marked the magazines 10th-anniversary issue. Heroes always are making sacrifices, they are always deviant and they are ordinary individuals who find their strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.
